I am Mrs. Ward and this is my second year teaching at Luxford Elementary School. You might have know me last year as Ms. Palomo, but I got married this summer! My husband and I went to Mexico for our wedding. Even though it was hot, our family and friends had a great time! Besides getting married, my favorite part of our trip was climbing the Mayan Ruins. We were able to see over all of the trees once we reached the top. Did you ever travel out of the country or even out of Virginia? I’d love to hear about one of your adventures and what your favorite part was.

So I was looking around online and noticed that Mrs. Ward started blogging for her kids. ( I was actually trying to see if Ms. Bair finally made a cool web page, but she is too lazy. I used http://www.21classes.com last year with my students so they could actually blog as well. It is a lot less complicated, but this year I am taking the easy way out and I am going to offer candy rewards every time that a student responds at home. Just two words of advice, id take off that anti spam thingy because it is going to be too difficult for some students and put as little as possible when it comes to options and links on the homepage. If it is their they will click on it haha Also as long as you have the settings set so you have to approve their comments you wont get any spam posted on your site.
